Cabinet of Uttarakhand
The Uttarakhand Council of Ministers ((ヒンディー語:उत्तराखण्ड की मन्त्रिपरिषद्)) is the executive wing of Government of Uttarakhand and headed by Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Harish Rawat who is the head of government and leader of the state cabinet. The current state council of ministers was sworn in 1 February 2014, after the resignation of Vijay Bahuguna Cabinet due to political circumstances. The term of every executive wing is for 5 years. The council of ministers are assisted by department secretaries attached to each ministry. The chief executive officer responsible for issuing orders on behalf of Government is Chief Secretary to the State Government. The current Chief Secretary is Shatrughana Singh who took charge from outgoing Shri Rakesh Sharma on 16th November, 2015.
